His word is Enough!

My curiosity about the Bible and its completeness almost got the best of me this summer. Thankfully a rededication and strong fire have carried me through and a message from Steven this morning in Sunday School reaffirmed exactly what I needed to hear. The Bible. Is. Complete. Curiosities have often led me to wonder, is everything there? Are there books that have been lost? Did man make a mistake and forget something? To answer all of the those and more…The Bible is true, complete and relevant. 2 Tim 3:16 states that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. This being said, God is finished writing the Bible and has included everything we need to know. Sure there are many more stories and accounts that could have been put in the Bible, but that wasn’t necessary because God included everything that was needed. Some parts of the Bible were written over 3,000 years ago, but the Bible is still alive and can answer our most important questions. It speaks of present events and current conditions. Whether we use one of his teachings, a law or a principle we can find the answers that we need to live a life for him. My curiosity may run rampant sometimes, but I KNOW his word is enough.
