Shinin' Bright 24/7

Matthew 5:16- In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Well here goes nothin.’ I’ve thought about starting a blog for a long time and finally got some encouragement and motivation from my dear friend, we’ll call her Ms. Sassy :-) Keeping up with everyone and everything these days is ridiculous and this is a great way for me to share what God is doing in my life. Shinin’ Bright 24/7 means many things. First and most importantly it means letting my light shine before men all day everyday (24/7). With having a name like “Starr” shinin’ bright is implied and I’d like to think my personality reflects this as well. 24/7….well my new address is 247 and I just like using the term 24/7 after it was pointed out to me by another dear friend, Mr. 502. I plan to share small pieces of my life with you which will include the following- devotionals, daily happenings, my experiences as a social worker, and basically anything that pops into my little head and warrants a post.
